Are Dreams to be Pursued

The craziest of the dreams I always recollect is of “Myself flying”.

I take a deep breath and then push myself up … there I go up and flying (no not like a bird)… just as if i am walking in thin air… I move up as I push myself upwards right and left if i sway myself to the right or left… having complete control … If i make no effort i keep coming down slowly and if I make another push upwards I move upwards again… I always used to come across various situations where people were struggling with something and I could help them out of that …. I moved through the country side… I enjoyed the journey almost always…. I used to come back to the ground as smooth as a glider touching ground …

I had this dream a number of times…

I interpret this dream as my urge to belive in breaking the barriers… and thinking that nothing is impossible…. the various situations in which I was helping out people relate to my instinct to stand by people who are in need…

“To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself, to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed.”
– Bernard Edmonds

“If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember this whole thing was started by a mouse.”
– Walt Disney

“There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not.”
– Robert F. Kennedy

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”
– Henry David Thoreau

Sit back and think

What could

  • Mircrosoft, Oracle, … do to the Economony of America
  • Sony, Toyota, Honda, …. do the Economy of Japan
  • Samsung, LG, …. do the Economy of South Korea
  • Nokia …. do to the Economy of Finland

Are achievements which created these

  • From people who were interested in certain specific subject areas
  • (Or)
  • From people who were proficient in every subject they had to go through

What is the benefit of a student understanding a subject

  • To the student
  • To the teacher
  • To the community as a whole

If something in this has interested you, come back and read the postings for a few more days… I am writing my point of view and want others to share my thoughts and their thoughts so that something purposeful may be derived at the end from my efforts…

What am i doing….

“Hold fast to dreams for if dreams die
Life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly”

I don’t remember who wrote it but the words have often come to mind. As a contrast to your walking on air, - when I dream of flying - I actually swim through the air, very odd. Gliding seems like a lot less work.
